A girl likes to have options and that is exactly what this collection of prints is all about. My original Dots (Poms) and (Tent) Stripes have been around for over a decade and I thought it was time to take a new look at those incredibly useful prints. The question that I asked myself is how to make them more versatile than they previously were. In the past I have used used these prints exhaustively in my quilts and bags but sometimes even if it was the perfect color I would have liked it better if it was larger and bolder or smaller and more textural. I decided to put these options all in one print. These new True Colors, Sticks and Stones, are designed with 4 sizes of each stripe and dot from selvage to selvage. These different sizes can be used together to create dimension or split up base on the size and need of the patch I am cutting. A small piece can be cut from the smaller stripe or dot and a larger piece can be pulled form the larger sections.

For Down to Earth I wanted to create a collection of prints that worked in a similar way. Most of the prints are designed from selvage to selvage. The hero print is a tall growing vine with different little vignettes that travel from one end to the other. This print can be cut into smaller pieces are used whole as an amazing border. Lady bugs and mushroom, tiny bees and giant moths add more textures and illustrations to fill in this little garden of delights. Use these two collections separately or combine them for a full spectrum of color and nature!
